The DOL – Unarmed Security Training/Certification Refresher is a 4-hour class (12 pm–4 pm) at the VSO Training Center, reinforcing key skills, legal updates, and best practices for unarmed security professionals. Includes: -Unarmed Guard State Certification -Do’s and Dont’s as an unarmed security guard. -Public Interaction Best Practices -Use of Force Continuum -How to Identify and Handle Potential Aggressor -Observe & Reporting Basics -Different Security Awareness Levels -Security Guard Presence Knowledge -Emergency Situations (Fire, Medical, Crisis) -Written State Mandated Knowledge Test
